Found this link whilst looking through the ABC website and thought it may be useful to you. You may already know of it, I'm sure you're aware that the ABC has heaps of good info available in it's site. This one is to do with Australian words and has games in it for kids to play as well Not being a govie myself I can only hope I'm being helpful!

It includes hundreds of photos of marine life, animals and landscapes including some great ones of Australian animals and dangerous beasts! You have to register to see the enlarged versions of the photos, but it's free and no hassle.

Search The Internet - National Library of Australia - this is a list of search engines.

SOFWeb - This site has a number of useful resources available following the curriculum vitae. This is a site for Victorians but a lot of the things can be useful for other states. Educating.net - This site is massive, everything to do with education, you or the kids, it also has a number of online libraries. Be aware that this site also links to sites where you pay for goods, the majority is free. This site is worth and exploration!
