Annual Membership Information

 

Annual Membership Number gives employers the right to advertise on the JobBoard and receive weekly updates via email of the resumes.

  • Each membership number can …

    • advertise one childcare position and re-advertise that position as many times they want within the membership year.

    • advertise a non childcare position such as a couples position this is allowed to be included within your Position Form not on a separate form.

    • Receive a weekly members update with resumes attached.

  • All emails and correspondence to GovAust should include your Membership Number in the subject.

  • The membership year starts 1 March and ends in February.  All positions will be taken down in March unless membership renewed.

  • Membership will cost $110 for the first year of membership and will be $66 for renewals years.

  • Access to the JobBoard and email Members Updates is immediate upon membership number allocation.

 

Company Membership is available:

Company Membership is $132 annually 

For those advertising more than 1 governess job position.

  • The Human Resources Officer will receive weekly Members Update of the Resumes

  • Each property

    • gets their own membership number,

    • receives the weekly Members Update  

    • can advertise their position.

 

Governess Australia has the right to revoke membership at anytime.

 


 

Policy and Waiver

  • Please allow 8 days for the job to appear on the Job Board.

  • Please remember that while we do our best to provide prompt service, Governess Australia is run by a working governess and as such that position comes first.

  • Governess Australia does not vet positions or resumes.  The JobBoard is just an advertising service; we encourage users to carefully check out each resume or position and its' references before entering employment. 

  • Regular contact needs to be made with the Job Board in regards to whether a position has been filled or job seeker employed. If no contact has been made in three months the position or resume will be removed from the Job Board.

  • Governess Australia accepts no responsibility and makes no endorsement, warranty or representation as to the qualifications or credentials of any person advertising with Governess Australia.

  • All persons advertising with Governess Australia are independent of and not in any way to be considered employees or agents of Governess Australia.

  • Accepting any error or omission in compiling the Governess Australia JobBoard list or positions vacant list, all qualifications, credentials and other personal information is as supplied to Governess Australia, and no responsibility is accepted for the truthfulness or accuracy of said information.

  • Under no circumstances shall Governess Australia be liable for any indirect or consequential damages that may result from the action or inaction of any person advertising with Governess Australia.

  • Governess Australia will only collect personal information by lawful and fair means. We will collect only information that is relevant for the service for which you have inquired.  We will collect all such information directly from you.

 

Application Process

 

STEP 1

Go to the Parent's Page and read all the information.

 

STEP 2

The Advice & Agencies page provides advice and information on advertising for governesses.

 

STEP 3

Read and accept Policy and Waiver

 

STEP 4    Membership

  1. Please open and fill in Membership Form

  2. Press File then Save As

  3. Name document either Full Name or member number

        Eg. NSW001 Member  or Jane Smith GA Members

  4. Save in My Documents Folder

  5. Open Email Program

  6. Write new email to jobboard@governessaustralia.com

  7. Subject:  your name or membership number

  8. Attach member form saved in Documents

  9. SEND

What Next:

After your form has been received and processed an email with your membership number will be sent out.  You will receive the next Members Update.  After your money has been received you will get your Tax Invoice emailed out.  

 

 

STEP 5    Job Position Form

 

  1. Please download the New Job Position Form  or  Old Job Position Form

  2. Press File then Save As

  3. Name document either Full Name or member number

        Eg. NSW001 Jane  or NSW Jane Smith

  4. Save in My Documents Folder

  5. Open Email Program

  6. Write new email to jobboard@governessaustralia.com

  7. Subject:  your name or membership number

  8. Attach Job Position form saved in Documents

  9. SEND

What Next:

I will then put this Job Position on the JobBoard on my next update, which usually takes place on Wednesday and Thursday, unless I am away.
