Thank-you so much, I have found you website to be absolutely super! I had a lot of friends indicate that I would have a hard time finding someone. An ex Govy told me about your website and I thought why not. With no interest for 3+wks, I was thrilled when I received 3 applications this week. Thank-you it’s a fabulous service and website, may I also suggest if you’re ever looking at updating the website, the ability to load photos would speak a thousand words.

Thanks so much Leanne. The first message I sent I had said how wonderful I thought your site was. It’s a great idea and a wonderful service. We have employed the girl Hannah who had a resume up on the board. The quality of applicants we received was excellent and it was very difficult deciding who to employ – especially when all the interviews are done over the phone and you have to go a bit with your instinct. Anyway, we are looking forward to meeting Hannah in January and will definitely use your site again next year!

I noticed that you have done some work to the site. I would like to make a suggestion, hopefully you won't take offence I am sorry if you do! But I think that the web page would be easier to read if when you looked at the page it was all on one page, by that I mean not having to scroll across the page to read or find information!!

I think you have done a fantastic job and last year I used the website my self to find a job! It was very successful for me in finding a job!!

I have been successful in finding a govie through your website. Many thanks, The website certainly is more successful then advertising in the Country Life and the Land. In the last few weeks I have been getting a lot of enquiries directly from the Governess Aust website. You are truly doing a fantastic job. Anyway my position was listed in the Queensland section Job 4 Sally at South Bend. When things settle down and the bank balance returns to normal in Feb (After Christmas and Back to School expenses) I will be sending a donation to you. Just wondering what is going on with this job board. I posted a job position for south Australia in December and much to my discovery when I was going to ask for it to be taken off it hadn't even been posted to the website.

What is happening? Thanks to other useful sources I managed to find someone. Just as well I wasn't relying on this web site as I would be still waiting for someone and school is about to start again.

This website has to be reviewed and find out what is going wrong.

I hope that this hasn't happened to other people that are still looking for govo's as well.

In reply to your email, I received an email about your job but it was blank. I sent an email back with a form attached saying that the form you filled out didn't work and would you please fill in the attached form but I never got a reply. (Below in green is a copy of the email) I am not sure if you received this email or not? This wouldn't be the first time in the history of emailing that they haven't come through. I have talked to professionals about why occasionally the JobBoard forms don't work and they say there is no answer. It happens with everyone everywhere they mention it usually to do with an incompatible setting between the users computer and the server which hosts the website.

When I have a requested for a review like yours or get feedback negative I email this and my response to several people who are governesses, parents and a teacher. I do this to help get a more rounded view on the issue and to see if their point of view is different to mine.

I apologise for the inconvenience this has caused and if in future you decide to use this free service again then please follow up your application with an email to bushgovo@www.governessaustralia.com asking if I received your application. If you have trouble emailing anybody on the JobBoard then please email me and I will send back there email address and a phone number for you contact them.

What do you like best about Governess Australia?

I like the Governess Australia website because it proved very successful in finding a top quality Governess for this year which would have been very difficult through any other means. I would strongly recommend the Governess Australia website to anyone seeking a Governess for their children and I will be using the site again myself.

What do you think could be improved or changed?

Really I can't think of anything that could be improved. The website seems to grow and get more information each time I visit, a credit to the dedicated people who run it.

What sections of the website do you use the most?

As an employer, I have only used the listing facility advertising the position and looked through the lists of people looking for work. But I can imagine that a lot of Governesses would use the site for all sorts of information.
